Natural Light Portrait Sessions

Portrait photography for me is more than creating an image. It is a quiet space where a person can be seen and present as they truly are. My work is influenced by intuitive and soulful portrait photography, where light, atmosphere and emotion come together to reveal the deeper essence of a person.

Many people describe these sessions as calming and reflective, almost like a gentle moment of reconnection with themselves.

Portrait sessions take place in locations chosen together with the client. Some people feel most comfortable at home, others prefer a walk in nature, a quiet park, the forest, or even a favourite café or meaningful place in the city. The environment becomes part of the story and helps create photographs that feel natural and authentic.

I work primarily with natural light, which allows portraits to feel soft, atmospheric and emotionally expressive. However, with more than 20 years of experience working in studio photography and modelling portfolios, I also use professional studio lighting when it best supports the style and mood of the portrait.

Each session is guided gently, allowing space for spontaneity and real expression. The goal is not simply to pose for a photograph, but to create portraits that feel personal, timeless and deeply connected to the person in front of the camera.

Portrait sessions can also be organised for small groups of friends who would like to share a relaxed and meaningful experience together. These gatherings often become beautiful moments of connection, laughter and conversation, captured naturally through photographs.
